1954, 1955, 1955. Fellowship 2nd impression, Two Towers, 2nd, Return of the King 2nd. Appropriate impression original jacktes. Books tight, square and true, no marks or foxing. Pages clean and bright, maps lovley. Covers have white spots which is actually foxing and not staining as commonly described. Jackets are outstanding, only very slight darkening to spines, minor tattering to spine heads especially on FoTR. Jackets are as close to original grey as I've ever seen especially flaps, RoTK is clipped. Despite slight the spots to covers, as good an early first set for a fraction of the 1st/1st price.
