Reprinted before publication. Near fine to fine book and truly fine jacket. Dust Jacket, some rubbing in places but one of the finest Lion jackets I've seen with red bright on spine title. Book near fine, slight foxing to page edges. No marks, small original book sellers sticker and slight shading where flap didn't cover on FEP. Remarkable condition copy considering these early editions were so cheaply printed. Signed Wilbur A Smith. There are only five of these in the world I'm aware of. A true rare gem for the discriminating collector. These period signed/inscribed books, signed on release, are inscreasingly rare with the number of discriminating collectors growiing. This and my Viking inscribed are the only copies I'm aware are for sale. WS did not signed many books at the time compared with now.
